According to a new industry report, it looks like it won't be Rashmika Mandanna but Malavika Mohan who has roped in biggie Chiyaan61 to play the female lead. Ranjith had earlier said that there was a lot of work for the female lead in the film, and Malavika reportedly understood that.
Filming begins today in Kadappa in Andhra Pradesh, where Vikram, Ranjith and his crew will camp for 40 days. The film, shot in 3D, was produced on a large scale by Studio Green.
