Dhanush starrer Naane Varuven will be his next theatrical release after the current blockbuster Thiruchimbalam which is making big waves at the box office. The star will play a dual role in Selvaraghavan's next directorial, which is said to be a psychological thriller with many interesting twists and turns. Dhanush will be seen as an old character or a young man in this film. The film is expected to have many surprises for the fans.

The film is being produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu and is now in post-production stage with editing and other works. The team plans to release the film in late September or sometime in October.
