According to Apple's release notes, iOS 15.2.1 and iPadOS 15.2.1 have resolved several critical security flaws. It's an issue that causes Messages sent via iCloud Link to fail to load and fixes a third-party CarPlay app that doesn't respond to input. On the other hand, the new update also improves performance on older iPhones to give users a better experience.

Currently, the iOS and iPadOS 15.2.1 updates can be downloaded for free, and the software is available on all eligible devices through the Settings app. To update to new software, go to Settings -> General -> Software Update.
