Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to start shooting for his next film titled Jailer which is the 169th film of his career. The Nelson-directed film will hit theaters from the 15th or 22nd of this month and the star himself updated it in a recent interaction.

The big cast and crew announcements for Jailer keep coming, with the team planning to start the shoot with a big pooja. The film has music composed by Anirudh and is slated for a summer 2023 release.
