After numerous sources of information, OnePlus is finally launching the OnePlus Nord Watch smartwatch. It is the first watch of the Nord series, a very affordable one.

The OnePlus Nord Watch has an aesthetic in the style of the Apple Watch, even if the construction is much more modest: the case is made of an alloy of zinc and polycarbonate, and the bracelet is made of silicone.

Hardware specifications for the OnePlus Nord Watch:

  • 1.78-inch AMOLED screen with 448 x 368 pixel resolution, 60Hz refresh rate and up to 500 nits brightness;
  • IP68 certification that certifies resistance to water and dust;
  • over 100 different watch faces, including customizable variants;
  • pulse measurement sensor;
  • SpO2 sensor for measuring blood oxygenation;
  • monitoring of stress, sleep quality, the number of calories consumed, the menstrual cycle, etc.;
  • bluetooth 5.2;
  • 105 types of physical activities;
  • 230 mAh battery that promises an autonomy of up to 10 days in normal use and up to 30 days in low-power mode;
  • 52.4 gr. weight with bracelet.

The OnePlus Nord Watch does not have GPS, does not offer support for bluetooth calls and comes with a proprietary operating system compatible with at least iOS 11 and at least Android 6.0.

OnePlus Nord Watch will initially be available only in India at a recommended price of Rs.5K.
