Suriya 42 has finally taken off without much fanfare as the team has officially announced the same. The shooting of the film is currently going on, the core team of Shiva has been retained for this film as well. After his brilliant work in Pushpa and The Warriorr, Devi Sri Prasad composed the music for this blockbuster produced by UV Creations and Studio Green jointly.

The film has an interesting plot and is said to be a strong period drama. Suriya will shoot for Vanangaan and this film together.
